Several weeks ago I added a new block of DID’s to my customers system. About 1/3 of the new DID’s programmed correctly, but certain DID’s with higher numbers didn’t work correctly. The inbound calls rang in for half ring but then went to the receptionist. The customer already had about 80 DID’s and I programmed the new ones the same way. The previous DID’s were programmed with rec digits of 3. The provider indicates they are sending 4 digits. I’ve called my Nortel rep and he indicated that the rec digits had issues from the provider. I’ve contacted the provider twice and was told that theres nothing else they can do. I’ve submitted a written request to the provide’s web site. Hopfully I’ll hear from them soon.
